2027 Tuesday Couples League

Format:

• 2 Person Teams – Scramble Matchplay
• Handicap Determined by week-by-week League Scores
• Leagues Will be Alternate between the front and back each week.
• 5:30pm Shotgun start
• Teams will pair up with different teams each week
• League Starts May 5th and ends on September 1st (17 weeks)

Rates:

• Green Fees per League night (applies to non-members) – $15
• Cart Fee per League night – $15/ Per Player
• League Fee (one time fee) – $120+tax/ Per Player
• Skins game (Optional Weekly Fee) – $5/Per Player

Rules:

• Men – White Tees
• Woman – Red Tees
• USGA Rules and Local Rules Govern play
• Out of bounds defined by white stakes
• Lost Ball Rule in Effect
• Water Hazards defined by yellow stakes or lines
• Lateral Water hazards defined by red stakes or lines
• Players are responsible for any damage to course property or equipment
• All players must have their own set of golf clubs and bags
• Must be 18 years of age to participate in leagues
• ALL beverages MUST be purchased at FRGC, No Outside beverages or coolers Allowed.
• Both players on a team participate in every shot, starting with both hitting from the tee. The team then selects the best shot and continues by playing their next shots from that location. This process repeats until they successfully hole out.
• Teammates may place their ball one club length away from the picked shot, in the same course condition from where it lies (Fairway, rough, bunker, etc.)

Points system

• 10 points system (1 Point Per hole + 1 point to lowest net score)
• 10 points possible each night, 1 Point for winning a hole and .5 points for ties
• Teams with a no-show will play against a dummy score
• 1st half winner will be determined by the most 1st half points
• 2nd half winner will be determined by the most 2nd half points
• League Champion will be determined by Match against 1st and 2nd half winners
• No Shows will NOT be awarded points for the week they no showed.

Weather

• Weather Permitting, League will continue
• Severe weather – League will be canceled
• Rain – The Decision will be made by pro shop staff
• If a league is canceled during league, Rain Checks will be provided.

Payout

• Prizes and awards will ONLY be in Credit towards Proshop Merchandise.
• Skins money will be paid out in Cash and will be paid out the following week of league play
• 1st Half, 2nd Half, overall points , and league champions will receive their Winnings and trophies on the Banquet night

Banquet

• Banquet will conclude on the last night of league.
• Food will be provided by FRGC, Beverages must be purchased.
• Fun Scramble Night
• 1st and 2nd Half winners will compete For League Champion Title.

Schedule

First two weeks of league, No Points will be awarded.
Handicap and points will be established starting third week of league.
